Andropause is the male version of menopause. Symptoms of andropause include decreased libido, fatigue, increased irritability, loss of motivation, abdominal weight gain, decreased strength, and some men even experience hot flashes. Andropause is the result of a decrease in testosterone levels. Low testosterone levels leave men susceptible to cardiovascular disease and prostate cancer. Bioidentical hormone replacement therapy can restore and balance testosterone to improve quality of life and assist in preventing chronic diseases.
